Come join SMART Ties on Sunday June 2nd. This class will have something for every skill level.
We believe it is important to show that everyone, everybody, no matter the shape, size, or gender, has the right to not only enjoy being in rope but share it with the world in whatever ways they feel comfortable.
We will learn and share some tips for tying bigger bodies as well as a few of the more sustainable ties for suspension for everyone!
Rope/Gear: 4x30' or more is ideal. Safety Shears/Cutting Tool
Class Type: Hands On, Tie Along
Class Setup: Mat/Ground Area (no hard point required)
Prerequisite: Single Column Tie (encouraged but not required). Basic understanding of Frictions (encouraged but not required)
Remember to bring:
-A good attitude
-Willingness to learn, share, and be a part of the community
-Rope, if you have some(we do have some to share)
-Comfy clothes(or not)
-Valid, state-issued identification
SMARTies meetings are open to anyone 19 and older and no membership is needed. We aim to be an fun, education-based group focused on teaching, sharing, and exploring the fascinating world of rope, open to ALL levels of experience.
