Come join SMART Ties on Sunday January 6th and learn some amazing ties from two of my favorite people. Poisonwell and Dawn77 are passionate rope enthusiasts who have been tying and learning together for over 4 years now. They have attended numerous cons and intensives, and tie regularly for play and for fun. They both gravitate to the connection of rope, along with the challenge and creativity of tying together. Although they have learned various different styles of rope, they are most influenced by the Eastern style riggers and Japanese Shibari
Hardcore Hip Holster
Description: This section will cover a gunslinger style hip and thigh harness that incorporates greater rigidity and support. This harness has a clean aesthetic and very robust structure. It can be used for ground play and various different suspension positions, including single leg inversions.
The Shibari Backpack
Workshop Description: This class will cover an arms free chest harness that is intended to reduce chest compression that can occur with other common arms free ties. The chest harness is created using "backpack" style shoulder lines and a series of consolidated lockoffs that bring all lines together in the back. The harness can be adapted to incorporate the arms or allow other opportunities to build out your ties for some fun ground or suspension play.
