Akron July Munch - Lock 15 Brewing Company

Come join SMART as we celebrate the safe(r) re-opening of restaurants with our first Akron munch!

New to the community? Want to be with like minded individuals in a vanilla setting while digging into some local eats? This event is for you!

We will be checking out the amazing beer garden and food served at Lock 15. This amazing little brewery and restaurant has beautiful paths surrounding it for pre or post-munch strolls.

Please be mindful of the current state and the restaurants Covid policy. Wear a mask when it is required. Please keep social distancing in mind. Due to covid we want to reiterate the importance of asking before touching. Please keep in mind that people are at different levels of comfort with personal space and touch with the ongoing pandemic. Please keep as much distance as possible unless explicitly invited to sit closer or touch, as we want people to feel as comfortable as possible. We have a zero tolerance policy for those that disregard the safety rules.

Lock 15 Brewing Co. was born at a Christmas party in 2010. Owners and cousins Colin Cook and Joe Karpinski celebrated with their family over the latest batch of Christmas Ale homebrewed by Joe. “One taste of that beer and I knew Joe would be brewing beer on a much larger scale, and I wanted to make sure it was with me!” Joe brings over 10 years of brewing experience to the table paired with Colin’s 20 years in the hospitality industry from NYC to Philadelphia to Akron.
