OhioSMART Third Saturday: Dungeon photography 101

If you’ve been to a casino night or Halloween the last couple of years, you’ve no doubt met @east_ and his big umbrella light.

Come join Smart on the 16th as he leads a class on improving your own pics, whether in the dungeon, the bedroom, the kitchen (he’s not gonna judge you) or wherever you need to catch a frame.

A portrait/people photographer for 20-ish years, @east_ has an in-depth knowledge of lighting, technique, and composing a shot that will help you add a little more zing to your own pics.

The class is going to cover camera basics, both traditional and smartphones, the differences between your phone and a dedicated system and the advantages they both have.

We’ll cover on camera and off camera lighting, posing, and building a scene.

Part of the class will be some practical time in the Arch dungeon where we use a few of the pieces of furniture for posing and you’ll have opportunity to have a few shots of yourself taken if you’re interested!

8:15 (ish) Class begins!
10:00 Class is over, party time
11:00 Registration closed
2:00 Dungeon closes, drive safe go home

We still require ID and proof of vaccination to enter.
