Anyone who attends OhioSMART should already be aware that the safety and health of our members and guests is extremely important to us.

At this time, we are not planning on canceling events. The current recommendations for Ohio apply to social gatherings much larger than ours, but we are staying informed as new recommendations come out and will keep all of you updated as well.

We would like to reiterate that the Ohio Department of Health makes the following recommendations to protect yourself from illness:

-Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; dry hands with a clean towel or air dry hands.

-Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are unavailable.

-Cover your mouth with a tissue or sleeve when sneezing or coughing. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

-Stay home when you are sick.

-Avoid contact with people who are sick.

Our upcoming events will have a large stock of Purell single use wipes, which have been graciously donated by a member. We're asking anyone who is sick, or has been in contact with anyone who is sick, please stay home. We'll miss you, but we'll see you when you're feeling better! A board member may ask you to leave if you are obviously symptomatic.
