Asexuality, where we'll be busting myths, checking facts, defining terms, and leaving you with a better understanding of this misunderstood and often invisible orientation, featuring resources from the Asexuality Visibility & Education Network along with individual perspectives from your very community.

Most of us are familiar with the homo- hetero- bi- and pan- prefixes indicating which way(s) one swings - the a- prefix indicates "none". Asexuality means feeling little or no sexual attraction. While it is gaining more and more visibility, but many folks still don't know it exists, or what it is, or how to understand it. Even folks who do know that it exists may be unfamiliar with the many forms and expressions that it can take. Did you know asexuals can be in and often seek out loving, committed relationships? that they can have and enjoy sex? or dislike sex and love BDSM? Or have no interest in sex with another person but enjoy self-play?

Afterwards, we'll clear some space for everyone ace and have an asexuals' meetup. It helps to know who's like you!
