  Come join us in the dungeon for a discussion on:

  • Modifying or embracing play with chronic pain
  • Medical fatigue and medical personnel and its impact on kink
  • Accommodating play
  • Negotiating play with chronic pain or illness
  • Accessibility in kink

  We’ll provide the drinks (soda and water) but feel free to bring snacks to share. While this is listed as a discussion, it is okay to opt out! There will be resources to take and share.

  OhioSMART April Ties: Hip Hip Hooray, it's a Hip Harness Day! This is a tie along or audit class of beginner to intermediate skill levels. Having a tying partner is recommended but not required.

  April's rope class will be covering suspension worthy hip harnesses. We will be learning the basics of these different harnesses and how to adjust them to you or your partners anatomy.

  We plan to cover:

  • Gunslinger
  • Dragon harness
  • Full hip harness

  Have a specific hip harness you want to learn during this class? Please message emie-lou2 with your request and we will see what we can do!

  Rope/Gear: 3-4 30’ hanks We have some to share if needed.
  Safety: Shears/Cutting Tool
  Class Type: Hands On, Tie Along
  Class Setup: Mat/Ground Area
  Prerequisite: Single Column (not required but encouraged)

  Each year OhioSMART does a Sensation Stations Educational Play Party. What is that, you ask? Great question!

  OhioSMART invites in local tops to demonstrate different types of play at individual stations around the dungeon. This allows you, the participant, to try the things you are curious about, but maybe didn't want to devote an entire scene to. This is also a great event for newcomers who have yet to try particular types of play. As they say, you never know until you try, and you just might find something you love!

  As a note: Each individual participant, those topping at the station and bottoming for the sensation, will be actively negotiating during the event. If you are new to scene or what we call 'pick up play,' (any play done "in the moment") please stop by our negotiation station first! @Daphne24 will go over negotiation skills, tips, and tricks to help you navigate this event.

  This month we are headed to Das Schnitzel Haus! Das Schnitzel Haus is an wonderful restaurant serving traditional German-style dishes. According to their website, "Everything is made right here in the "haus". We pride ourselves on bringing you the freshest food around." Check out their menu here!

  Come join OhioSMART for a TTRPG One Shot - When the Clock Strikes Doom! And Sci-Fi Play Party!

  @PrettyWhenYouCry will be running "When the Clock Strikes DOOM!" a Slipstream adventure Queen Anathraxa’s forces unexpectedly raid the fragment planetoid of Barter! Anathraxan rocketships pursue a reclusive scientist! And that hunt may lead to an artifact that could unravel the very matter of the pocket universe of Slipstream! A one shot TTRPG session using the Savage Worlds system. Prior experience not needed, pre generated characters will be provided.

  is a TTRPG slut. They’ve been playing, running, and tinkering with TTRPs since the 2nd edition of the obligatory system. They have TTRPGs they've not even read yet. Is that an admission? A boast? Who cares?

  Both dungeons will be open all night for the Sci-Fi Play Party! Come dressed in your best Sci-Fi themed gear (and yes, that INCLUDES subgenres)!

  If you have ever watched a shibari scene and asked yourself, how do I play like that? With a few ties and rope handling techniques, you too can enjoy rope bondage!

  In case you missed our OhioSMART Ties Second Sunday: Introduction to Rope Bondage, then come to our OhioSMART Third Saturday event in May! Over two hours, you’ll learn some of the fundamentals of rope bondage and scene creation!

  No experience required. If you can tie your shoes, you’re more than capable of learning different ties.

  The first hour we will go over how to tie a single column, a square knot, and how to reverse tension. The second hour will be a free time for folks to practice these skills, where vetted community members will circulate for feedback, tips, and tricks.

  If you’re interested in continuing your rope journey, we highly recommend you attend our Ties Special Interest Group (SIG). At the Ties SIG, we regularly practice skills and learn new techniques from a variety of vetted presenters!

  Recommended materials:

  • Any type of rope
  • Cutting shears

  This class will be accessible for tying pairs and those tying solo.

  Please note: we will have a limited amount of rope at our space for folks to use.

• OhioSMART May Queers Event: Munch at the Cleveland Museum of Art

  For my first event as your new SIG lead, I wanted to go back to basics/bring back a classic OhioSMART Queers event style with a discussion/munch at the CMA. The purpose of this meeting is to connect with both existing and new members interested in our group. OhioSMART wants to continue to remind queer people that they are not alone and can rely on our organization to support you for the foreseeable future.

  We will be meeting in the Atrium at the tables next to the cafe. Members will arrive as early as 6:30 to secure table space, with the discussion beginning at 7pm.

  Free parking can be found around Wade Oval, and paid parking is available onsite. The museum is 1 mile away from the Little Italy/University Circle Rapid Station.

  This venue great for introverts - get overwhelmed, need some space? The museum is huge and quiet in most places. Go look at some art and come back to us!

  IT IS WINTER, SO THE DOORS ON THE POND/FOUNTAIN SIDE OF THE BUILDING WILL BE LOCKED! You HAVE to enter through the main entrance.

  Your waifu called, she told me that she wanted to take advantage of you while dressed like her favorite zaddy senpai! If anime isn’t your taste, then dressing like your favorite game (or other) character and playing is a great way to enjoy your weekend.

  Bring your best cosplay to our May Members only event! Those who come dressed up will get a raffle ticket for a small prize at the end of the night. The main theme will be video game cosplays, but you’re welcome to dress as any character your heart desires.

  Love erotic literature? So do we!!! Named after writer Chuck Tingle, our Tingle and Mingle Erotic Reading Night and Play Party will be a chance to celebrate erotic literature as we host an erotic reading night at the play space!

  Participants can sign up to read snippets from their favorite short stories, plays, poetry, and more.

  If it features passionate, romantic, or sexual relationships/feelings - or contains elements of satire and social criticism - we want to hear it! As a participant, you can choose to ‘enhance’ your reading with costumes, a partner, or even puppets or props!

  We’ve got you covered! As a listener, you’ll be asked to vote on the most erotic reading! After the event, the numbers will be tallied and we will reward one lucky participant with a prize.

  Please note: no one will be pounded in the butt, either by people or by philosophical constructs. This is a regular first friday party where there is no penetration at the space.

  Come join us on OhioSMART Third Saturday July: Beyond Boot Blacking - Hands-on with History presented by BootWitch!

  BootWitch walks you through the start of BootBlacking and the impact of gear care on the Queer community. But, it's more than boots, they will cover the basics of caring for Leather, Rubber, and Neoprene. Come get your hands on some gear that needs love (or feel free to bring your own), so you know what to look for, for yourself and to ensure your local bootblack doesn’t cry on the inside when you sit for them.

  Please note: Rubber and Neoprene do need a long period of time to dry. These items may be a complete at home project.

  BootWitch Bio:

  BootWitch is a Boot Black from Cincinnati, OH with over seven years of experience at the stand. They have provided services at events like North American Bear, Cincinnati Leather Weekend, Cincinnati Critter Contest, Iowa Leather Weekend, various community events, and private sessions. They enjoy teaching bootblacking from a perspective of care and preservation of gear and goods. They are experienced in taking care of leather, rubber/latex, and neoprene. BootWitch is always looking to expand their kit and add more information to their knowledge pool! So be sure to come strike up a conversation with them, they're open to questions that range from 101 to more advanced questions on specific pieces and aren't afraid to refer to their mentors for assistance as well.

• Fetish Flea 2025 Vending Registration

  This is the official registration for vendors who have been accepted for Fetish Flea 2025.

  As a reminder: Vending will take place from October 17 through October 18. An acceptance of registration encompasses both days.

  • Load in will be on Friday, October 17 at 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Vending begins at 6:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM. 
  • Saturday vending begins at 10:00 AM and load out will be on Saturday, October 18 at 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We reset the area by 7:00 PM.

  Prices include both Friday and Saturday of the event. The vending fee will include two (2) wristbands for accessing all of the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday classes and play parties.

  Refund Deadlines:

  • Requests on or before July 15 will receive a 100% refund.
  • Requests from July 16 to September 15 will receive a 50% refund.
