OhioSMART is heading to Colossalcon to lead some panels on Body Positivity, BDSM 101, and Consent

Simply a body positivity panel. Are you afraid you are too fat, or your head is shaped weird? Fuck everybody else because you are fabulous! We are here to support you and your mental well being though these hateful times. Join us for a discussion about staying positive when everybody else is judging you, or even when you just feel like they are. We can all be anxious beings and our minds can play hateful tricks on us, let's talk about how to combat this and learn to be your best self, regardless of how you look.
BDSM 101: An Introduction to Kink Saturday June 1st 1am - 3am
Whips and floggers, canes and paddles, rope and knots. A lot of people know what they are into but they aren't sure how to do it safely. OhioSMART is one of the few resources in the area who knows about virtually every kink and how to be safe about it. BDSM is far more than what we see in movies and read about in novels. Spoiler alert, it’s actually way better. Talk with people who are involved in real-life communities about their experiences. We're all kinksters, so no matter your body type or your style, we just want everybody to be as safe as possible.
ColossalCONSENT with OhioSMART Saturday June 1st 4pm - 5pm
So you are surrounded by amazing beautiful people in amazing beautiful costumes, but don't know where the line is to what you can do? Do you just want to be a better human being? Join us in a presentation and discussion on what consent is, the legal definition and what that means, and how consent relates to cosplay and conventions like Colossalcon.
