Come join SMART Ties on Sunday August 4th.
2-Rope and Potentially 3-Rope too
Join us for an initial look or perhaps a refresher on the classic 2-rope gote. This go-to chest harness tie is often the first/basic version riggers learn and continue to use around the world. Some know it as a box tie, and some a TK (Takate Kote); its better referred to as “Gote Shibari” — which pretty much translates as “hands tied behind the back”.
We will delve into a modification or two of this tie and if time permits, move forward into the 3-rope variation.
Rope/Gear: 4x30' or more is ideal. Safety Shears/Cutting Tool
Class Type: Hands On, Tie Along
Class Setup: Mat/Ground Area (no hard point required)
