Come join OhioSMART for the Flaming River Con After Party! OhioSMART will be hosting a Glow Party along with Sensation Stations! Whether you are a member, guest from the con, or just interested in a Glow and Sensation Stations Party - this event is for you!
What is Flaming River Con? Great Question!
Flaming River Arts 501(c)(3) was founded was founded in 2017. Their mission is to foster, showcase and celebrate LGBTQIA+ voices and the community, and combat bigotry by increasing the visibility of queer and marginalized persons within geek culture. This year's Flaming River Con is at The Cleveland Heights Community Center. You can find all the details here! Flaming River Con is free (with a suggested $5 dollar donation). OhioSMART will have a panel there that day and a table - so come check it out and support your fellow queers!
So what does a Glow and Sensation Stations Party Entail?
During this party, one of the dungeons will be set for a Glow Party! We will have backlight reactive items (like Glow Sticks) and some stations set up that react to UV light - like wax!
For the Sensation Stations, local tops will be there to demonstrate different types of play at individual stations around the dungeon. This allows you, the participant, to try the things you are curious about, but maybe didn't want to devote an entire scene to. This is also a great event for newcomers who have yet to try particular types of play. As they say, you never know until you try, and you just might find something you love!
As a note: Each individual participant, those topping at the station and bottoming for the sensation, will be actively negotiating during the event. If you are new to scene or what we call 'pick up play,' (any play done "in the moment") please stop by our negotiation station first!

10:00 PM: Sensation Stations End, Party Begins
11:00 PM: Registration Closes, No Entry Permitted Past This Time
2:00 AM: Closing Time
Please note: We share our facility and parking lot with another club. On busy nights, a parking attendant in a safety vest may be present to direct your vehicle to park in a specific location. Please respect and follow the attendant's directions, thank you.
